Just curious on the fastest processor it can handle. the M5414 is on sale for 599 at geeks.com witha sempron 2800+. Seems like a good deal to me, anyone know if it can handle anythign faster in it?
 
Looks like its a S754-based Sempron, so you should be able to put any speed of Turion64 in there that you would like.
 
Agreed. Altho eMachines BIOS support is always iffy, so there's a chance it may not work with the BIOS. Buy the chip from a place that takes returns 😉
