I am trying to find a good CDROM/CDRW driver for my eMachines desktop computer, T2385. The CDROM is a LG CED-8080B and it won't pick up any CD's I put in it.

The eMachines website does not have a CDROM driver listed for my model... any ideas as to where I can get a good CDROM driver for free?

Any computer with Windows 98 or higher and an IDE CDROM shouldn't require adding any drivers for the CDROM.

Check if the CDROM is showing up in the computer's boot sequence. Check the cabling and the Master/Slave settings of the drive. Check the Device Manager (of XP) and make sure that the CDROM is showing up. Worst case, try another CDROM. They're cheap and they tend to fail a lot.
