EMachines 6805 hibernating issues with XP SP2

After I updated to SP2, I noticed the laptops built in buttons no longer works and the computer freezes when it tries to suspend. Anyone else had this issue?

Removing sp2 , everything is working again.

Help?

You'll probably have to flash the BIOS, look in the official thread for instructions and where to get everything.

eMachines officially does NOT support SP2. All eMachines laptops have some serious issues with SP2 (Don't know specifically, informed by technicians who have spent the last few weeks trying to load SP2 successfully onto eMachines laptops). Apparently they need a BIOS update, but one is not available. Check eMachines' site for updates.
