Saturday only in stores!!!!

No mention of staples.com, hell, it isn't even on their website.

Just got off the phone with the 3 main stores in the San Diego area and they all laughed and said they haven't carried eMachines for at least 6 months and don't plan to. They mentioned deals on HP and Compaq, as previously mentioned in this thread. Hmmm...

I called the Camarillo and Westlake Village stores in CA and they do net sell emachines either.

None in Dallas area either. I just spent 2 hrs in traffic trying to get to the only friggin staples I know of. All because the moron on the phone said "I can hold one for ya."

After a talk with the Manager, I now have a $50 credit at staples.

A bust. I went to my staples, I mean ran out, and they don't have it. The sales guy said they haven't had emachines for 5 months. Maybe just in my area.

Yeah, this deal must be reserved those small hick towns were they still had emachines left, as Southern CA Staples have been LONG sold out.

i swore i hadn't seen an emachine at staples ever by my house, drove there and yup, i was right, they have none. ohh well....worth the shot at a system for $200 bucks.

I dunno what to say. I now have three in my house (I travelled to four Staples stores today, because I was told that they couldn't be put on hold). I am using them as great Christmas presents. As for the sku before, that was the sku on my receipt...I called that Staples back and they apologized for the error. I apologize to those who:
a) had no luck
b) got pissed because of my B&M and not writing Brick and Morter
c) found that they were out of stock
d) had to deal with dumb employees (even though it netted a credit...you lucky guy)

My whole reason was to post a great deal for all...not to offend, or put anybody's underwear in a bunch. Good hunting for those new deals!
