Emachine T2742 Restore CD

I"m sure that E-Machines will send you a restore CD for cheap, if not for free, if you contact them.

Other than that, you might want to actually pick up a copy of XP and reformat/install that. It'll recognize your hardware, and you'll get an ad-free OS.

thanks for the reply .. unfortunetly im not paying $$199 for home full cd for a $250 computer..lol ill call them and see about a restore CD.

p.s. - even the OEM xp cd has alexa on it..
