emachine splash screen

Anybody know how to get rid of the emachine front screen (without getting rid of the emachine) upon start up of an emachine? It lasts about 1-2 minutes and is totally annoying.

Look for logo.sys in the C:\ root directory. Temporarily move it to another folder and reboot. Pretty sure the splash screen should be gone.

when I did a search for logo.sys, there were none associated with e-machine. One was Windows and one was Norton.

Any other suggestions?
