are there any control for fsb, etc. adjustments? if there isn't, then chances are you are going to need a new motherboard, which also means new soundboard and any other integrated components. this is pretty harsh

. i know that companies like emachine, compaq, etc. tend to build their systems with the goal of stability, and to lower production cost they leave out whatever is not necessary for operation, including the core adjustment necessary for overclocking, etc. that's one thing i don't like about pre-built systems. another option, but NOT ideal, is to replace the celeron with a slot1-piii, since you said that you're using the celeron with a slotket...but since you are using a celeron with a motherboard designed for slot-1 then it means that there has to be a fsb adjustment from 66mhz to 100mhz somewhere, either on jumper or bios. i don't know your board enough to make a conclusion, but good luck on it!
