eMachine m6811 and DVD's skipping frames...

Hello all,
I got an eMachines m6811 and I love it. The one thing I notice is that the system skips when I try to watch a DVD on it. It seems like it happens every 5 seconds or so, and it is very annoying. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone can help me out. I am using the latest Omega video drivers (he mentions Bios being a problem on some laptops). I also have Win XP Pro with SP2 installed.

EDIT: Also, I have the 07 Bios.

Thanks!

I don't really need to have the m6809 on 2GHz all the time, just want it to throttle up to 1.6GHz-2GHz when needed.
I really do notice the difference between 2GHz and 800MHz especially when I have OneNote, Firefox, Winamp, Explorer, MSN on at the same time.
