I have a question about the Eluminex. I am looking for a nice small lap-top type keyboard. The eluminex fits that description and it lights up so i can type in minimal light. Even though i dont look at the keys all the time while typeing but sometimes i do.

If anyone who has the eluminex could tell me if they think it is too bright if the computer is left on at night, like does it light up the whole damn room w/ a blue glow? And is it worth it

I know at least on some of the illuminated ones you can turn it on and off with a switch. The downside to them is that they are flat (like laptop keyboards) and smaller (not good for large hands). Many also do not include multimedia keys like volume and mute, which are infinitely useful.

I know there are some illuminated keyboards with the mulitmedia keys, but none that are truly "full sized." If you type a lot, you may want to consider a normal keyboard with a very small desk lamp.
