There's no reason that you can't use the reference nVidia drivers for your card. I've often used Elsa drivers with different nVidia cards. When I first purchased and installed my GF3 back in the early part of May, there was nothing available for the card on the nVidia site, and so, I ran the card as an Elsa Gladiac for several weeks! (It's a Visiontek GF3.) It makes no difference, a driver is a driver, and the cards all use the same GPU. The only thing that changes is the included software package, and sometimes the cards are cooled using varying methods. (i.e. /// different fans, and/or heatsinks.)
With your 32MB GTS card, why don't you check out the unreleased 12.90 drivers, and see if that gives you some additional performance? I did the same thing with a Creative Annihilator GF2 GTS card, with 32MB of RAM. The Creative drivers were much too old, so I never even installed them ... I went directly with the reference drivers. No problems, whatsoever.
