First "hot deal" post, so you decide if it's worth it or not. www.pcmall.com has the Elsa Gladiac GTS 32MB DDR for $156.99. Of course, I chose to pricematch at Staples, with a $25/$100 coupon (couldn't seem to find any usable $30/$150 or $40/$100 coupons), which, when they figured in the cost of shipping from pcmall.com, came to $151.67. Not quite as good as before, but still the cheapest I've seen recently.

There are some new staples.com coupons that I saw yesterday. 30 off 100, 25 off 75. They should be easily located, if not, send me an e-mail

Thanks, already ordered. I tried both of the $30 coupons on bensbargains.net, but the csr said both expired on the 31st of dec. Anyway, $5 isn't worth the trouble for me now, thanks anyway.

Don't forget sales tax. I came up with 150.50 including sales tax with the $30 coupon on the back of my staples catalog.
It's REALLY tempting. I paid more than this for my Geforce SDR over (I think) a year ago.

First the good news...Item # is: IM1784790
The bad news is they are out of stock and won't allow backorders for price matching.
Also the item # won't do anything on their web page. They do sell it though.

The item number doesn't pop up on the screen. When you ordered, did you have to call in (or did you go to a local store?). Were you able to use the $30 off coupon to get it around $120 - $130?

What a bunch of wiseguys these people are. First call (yesterday) they tell me they are out of stock.
Second call (today) they tell me they are instock. After guiding their internet department on how to find the pricematch I'm all ready to order when I get hung up on. That could have been a glitch somewhere so I'm not going to point blame.
Third call the woman can't find the Item number even though they found it the previous call. Supposedly puts me through to customer service where I get hung up on.
Call back a fourth time getting rather annoyed and they put me through to a supervisor. Nice guy, gets the job done and doesn't charge me the price match shipping for my hassle.
Total came to $136.52 after $30 off coupon from the back of my catalog and tax. :)
They have to ship from another warehouse though so it won't be here till the 12th.
Woohoo DDR speed here I come! :)

Wow, this was the first order I ever placed with Staples over the phone, and it was pretty easy to do (the price match was no problem, though they did call PCMall). Things to watch out for:

1) The rep was going to charge me $12 for shipping, when PCMall's shipping was $6. The shipping from PCMall depends on your zip code, so start the checkout of the order. This should give you an accuracte (read: lower) shipping amount.

2) Tax sucks. While my order from PCMall was tax free, Staples had to charge tax.. :(

Can anybody tell me how much hotter is this card compared to Radeon's 32MB DDR? Or is there a big difference?

Thank you, MrCadaver for the great post - and thank you freejack2 for supplying the Staples item number! I ordered this on Friday, 1/5, before pcmall.com raised the price back up! Too bad the deal is no longer available. It's a great one!

I got the Best Deal from Staples. They cancelled my previous order on this
Elsa Gladiac so i called them back and reorder. They PM at $156 - 40 and then the CSR took another 20 dollars off for the cancelling my order so I got mine for $ 103+change and received it yesterday
