I just set up a new rig and I have a problem. 3DMark2001 runs fine through all game tests, then runs the single textured fillrate test. Immediately after it appears to complete that test, I get the following error message: "3D mark could not initialize your 3D accelerator. Try to downgrade your display settings. DirectX errors message: set fullscreen - creating the device failed E_OUTOFMEMORY"
I tried lowering the resolution. Didn't work.
My specs:
Athlon XP 1700+ (1.48 gig.)
Shuttle Ak32 (Rev 3) 266a mobo
Elsa Gladiac 920 Geforce 3 (with current drivers)
256 mb Corsair PC2100 DDR
Soundblaster Audigy
IBM Deskstar 60 GXP 40 gig. HD
Liteon 16 x DVD
Win98
Everything is running at stock speeds for now. Any help is appreciated. I a using the 2183 drivers. Have tried reinstalling the drivers and DX8 multiple times.
