Elsa GEforce2 MX - Fan necessary?

I recently bought an Elsa Geforce2 MX. It has a heat sink but no fan. Is a fan really necessary (I'm not going to overclock it). If so, what kind of fan would you recommend?. Thanks!

No. Many systems that ship with a Geforce 2 MX do not come with an active fan. You might want to add a heatsink just to cool it down some more since it won't create any additional noise however a fan is not required.
