Elsa Geforce 2 GTS boot problems

Ok, I just swapped out my Asus V6800 DDR for an Elsa GTS that I got, both were running the detonator drivers, so there were no conflicts. Everything works great in windows, but probably 1 out of every 6-8 boots, I get beeping sounds that say there is no video card installed. At first, I thought it may not be pushed in all the way, but today when I tried to power on, it did the beep thing, and I turned off the computer and turned it back on, and it booted into win2k just fine.... What else should I try? Bios upgrade? Drivers shouldn't be a problem I wouldn't think...Any help is appreciated..

The card still might be a little lose, or unseated in the AGP slot and exhibit the same behavior as you described. I had a Geforce DDR card I thought was defective since it would only post with 16 megs instead of 32 megs memory when booting sometimes. One day I compeletly removed and re-installed the card and it posted fine from that day on. I would start by removing and reseating the card in the slot to see if it fixes the problem.

Yeah, i tried that, but it still does it off and on....It's not a huge deal, but if I ever want to sell it, the buyer may not like that too much. It does get kinda anyoning though.
