He clearly wants to be the very first billionaire in the guillotine. The free speech champion is apparently now firing SpaceX employees for criticizing his Twitter shitposting.
I do think that not only should he not buy Twitter, he should probably get off it completely.
Everyone knew that was coming. No way he is putting up with the leeches getting uppity. Their employment is 100% a gift to them, not the other way around. (In his mind)The free speech champion is apparently now firing SpaceX employees for criticizing his Twitter shitposting.

I own TSLA because of their battery tech, not their cars. They're still years ahead of everyone else and gaining ground as far as I can tell.I'm no fan of billionaires and Musk is an especially cunty billionaire.
That said, Tesla will ultimately be a battery company. Sticking a car on top of them is kinda beside the point when there are dozens of other manufacturers who have more infrastructure for putting cars on top of batteries.

Well, it's theirs until it starts showing up anywhere else. But is it "their" battery tech, or Panasonic's?

Free speech doesn't mean "consequence free" free speech. Crap on your boss and he has the right to stop paying you.The free speech champion is apparently now firing SpaceX employees for criticizing his Twitter shitposting.

While technically true, it's terrible optics for someone to have been screaming "it's all about free speech" for a while now and then go and do this. But, he's not exactly consistent in his words/actions anyway.
It's more than that, it just illustrates the complete inconsistency of going on about "free speech" while simultaneously defending private property rights (which includes both the right of the boss to stop paying you and the right of privately-owned platforms to stop carrying your words).
I firmly agree! I'm not the one saying I'm a free speech absolutist though.Free speech doesn't mean "consequence free" free speech. Crap on your boss and he has the right to stop paying you.

It's a problem when the biggest a-hole is the owner lol.Just a few days before the firing....
So much for that, lol.
- SpaceX president and COO Gwynne Shotwell said the company has a "no a--hole" policy.
- This stops staff shutting down conversations and allows people to propose big ideas, she said.
