i just realised that he is going to get egged on to fight until he gives in, then he get's his ass beat, then everyone laughs at him, then he's going to get mad and close twitter and finally disappear for 20 years
This is the second best case scenario (first one is still "tragic accident claims both of their lives").
But I think it's more likely the fight never happens.

We all know the play, he’s going to have a neck or back problem as he’s already laid the ground with. He will schedule the fight for some future date that will never arrive or he will train like a mad man while his “injury” heals. If match ever occurs and he loses its due to his injury and Zuck cheating because he was going after my injury.

It would be peak comedy if the person that proposed the entire thing is the one that backs out. There has been a rash of content creator boxing matches the past year. Including a match between 2 incredibly unhealthy people, WingsOfRedemption and Boogie2988.

Chess boxing would be better, could test that genius brain of his.

Elon Musk’s X is throttling traffic to news and websites he dislikes

The company formerly known as Twitter has begun slowing the speed with which users can access links to the New York Times, Facebook and other news organizations and online competitors, a move that appears targeted at companies that have drawn the ire of owner Elon Musk.

Tech is not your friend. We are. Sign up for The Tech Friend newsletter.

Users who clicked a link on Musk’s website, now called X, for one of the targeted websites were made to wait about five seconds before seeing the page, according to tests conducted Tuesday by The Washington Post.

The delayed websites included X’s online rivals Facebook, Instagram, Bluesky and Substack, as well as the Reuters wire service and the Times. All of them have previously been singled out by Musk for ridicule or attack.

The delay affects the t.co domain, a link-shortening service that X uses to process every link posted to the website. Traffic is routed through the middleman service, allowing X to track — and in this case throttle — activity to the target website, potentially taking away traffic and ad revenue from businesses Musk personally dislikes.

Yes, this is exactly the kind of thing I expected from the free speech absolutist.
Hey, technically speaking, he said he's a free speech absolutist, not a free speed absolutist. X will direct you to other websites, just at a slower pace.

/s in case it wasn't obvious. Fuck Elmo for being yet another hypocritical, insecure narcissist.

I'd like to stick him and Moonbeam in a room together so we could see which is able to disappear furthest up their own arse.

lol

Now you mention it I think what might happen is moonbeams head ends up in elon's ass and vice versa.

Moonbeam would end up wanting to truly find the source of elon's self-hate and would ask if he can find it in his ass. I think then elon's veneer of being such a tough man hating the color pink so hardcore and hating on the LGBTQ community, might take that opportunity to have moonbeam sign an NDA, and truly fulfill his homo erotic tendencies

Does he still own the "Twitter" name though? Or could someone launch a Twitter clone and call it Twitter?

Musk didn’t spend $44 billion dollars buying his own social media platform just to have people block him on it. He’ll run it into the ground before he lets that happen.

Oh wait…

I guess his half assed revenue model does rely on people seeing tweets> Are people auto blocking blue checks? From what I understand, people are blocking tons of ads. Doesn't both Apple and Google require a block feature on social media apps in order for them to be available in their app stores? Another crazy idea that won't go far?

He can't remove the block feature as the Apple app store requires it for social media apps that it distributes. I mean, he could but then run the risk of Apple taking down Twitter from the app store. Which would be funny in its own way.

With all the other big-brain thinking he's displayed since buying Twitter, I can believe that's a cost he's willing to pay.
