Thank you for sharing. I guess my perception was that it was going to be a Twitter replacement.
Threads isn't going to be a twitter replacement. They're just going to allow Musk to continue to turn twitter into a right-wing nutjob echo chamber while gathering up all the market share of people who aren't attracted to such things.

Those trump patriots always have the pulse of pedo culture, practices and news.

Odd to be so interested in what they propose to hate so much...
That's because the only real 'code' is the one they make up to defame people they don't like with the hopes that their lies will get them imprisoned.

Musk suing Law firm that fought to make him close on the deal. Upset that they actually got paid for their services.

It's amazing that Musk can make me root for Zuck and a Wall Street law firm in the same week.

Wow. The forces that brought an end to civilization, twitter and Facebook, are now fighting for superiority. Could this be what is predicted as the armageddon? You do realize they are going after what still remains of your brain.

Well put.

It really is amazing the fantasy world Elmo lives in his mind. He's a poster child for the jumped the shark phenomena. At one point many (including myself) viewed him as a modern day Thomas Edison. Nowadays I see him as a hapless "celebrity" who lucked/conned himself into a boatload of money.

Musk and the law firm who is representing him in this case have a very good chance of ending up on the wrong side of a frivolous lawsuit ruling, with additional liability and disbarment or other disciplinary actions against the attorneys as well.

Oh man he is spinning out in gold standard Trumpian fashion. How glorious is this.

How utterly pathetic.

Exactly. Keep all the antiwax and election denier peeps and hand over the rest.
I hope threads takes off.

As if we needed more proof this man has lost his shit.

As far as the bonus to the firm in question. They absolutely earned it since they forced Elmo to complete the deal at his vastly overpriced offer. It was the best possible outcome for Twitter's shareholders.

LOL!, Musk is complaining they violated their fiduciary responsibility, but that responsibility wasn't to the Twitter he was buying, it was to the shareholders who were selling and they were well rewarded.

They were very forward looking to get their payment wired before Musk took over given that he never pays his bills, and this was before Musk revealed that tendency to the world.

If you carry about privacy at all, I think Mastodon is the better option. They are built on the same open platform as Threads and you can still follow threads from there.

People interested privacy generally don't have social media accounts in the first place.

I never had a Twitter account, and I would have an account with any Twitter replacement.

At least the nazi’s will be well behaved and not use slurs such as cis or cisgendered after musk banned those words.
Reminds me of the quote, “The law, in its majestic equality, forbids rich and poor alike to sleep under bridges, to beg in the streets, and to steal their bread.”

I guess that’s easier for Elon to handle emotionally than to understand Threads’ real appeal. It’s not Instagram minus pics, it’s Twitter minus Elon.

Needs to be by mass. Elon is a bigger guy which has to have some impact.
I say each get into a tub a measure is taken for how much water was displaced.
They get some porn chicks to do something similar with the wieners.
Best ration of body mass to cock mass wins.
Not sure who would be qualified AND willing to observe the measurements to ensure there is no cheating.

Also this was the perfect opportunity for Zuck to use Milton Berle’s most perfect statement (in regards to a cock-off)
“I’ll only take out enough to win”
