I find more than a little humor in this. When conservatives were being censored on twitter the response was "tough shit". Now that Musk gets to decide what he want's to call free speech he's a monster.

I never much cared for Musk, and I view twitter as a societal cancer, so I do get just a little guilty pleasure out watching all the gnashing of teeth and shaking of fists. Yes, it's petty, but we all have a little mean streak.

As I've said, irredeemable. Yet another exhibit. These people are damaged goods.

The people who think greenman is smart are the biggest fucking idiots.

I take issue with the characterization of journalists as lazy, as the larger problem is that investigative journalism is unfortunately a money losing proposition that was once considered valuable enough that it was subsidized by the entertainment programs and ad dollars of the sponsors, but maximizing shareholder dividends has cut the financial support to the point where despite massive profits at the parent corp. newsrooms are still being cut.

Yeah, fair point. Real journalism is expensive, which emphasises the point that there's no such thing as "free speech", it always costs money. That said, I'm tired of seeing 'stories' in the traditional media that just consist of reporting "what some random people are arguing about on Twitter" (or, even, on mumsnet)

Quite a few seem to think they were indeed censored. Since I haven't done an in depth study of the issue I have no factual knowledge to share.
Bottom line is that it's Elon's ball, his yard, and his game. He's the God Emperor of twitter and can do with it as he pleases. If that bothers you don't visit, it's a solution I've successfully employed for many years.
This is such a greenman post. Basically admitting he knows fuck all and then deciding that even if he is completely wrong it doesn't matter anyway.

It’s a pretty common thing in conservative media these days how because conservatives feel something that means the rest of us have to treat it as legitimate.

Conservatives were never being censored on twitter. Unless you consider racism and other hate speech that violated twitter's policies to be defining of conservatives.
Meanwhile, liberals are being censored on twitter now, for nothing else than expressing liberal speech.
But I guess you're ok with that.

Weird how the supposed censorship of conservatives on twitter was evil but censorship of liberals is ok, even though twitter was just as privately owned then as it is now.
You define hypocrisy.

oops
When conservatives rant about the decline in American morals, the increase in crime (particularly fraud), and a growing belief among Americans that they shouldn't have to fulfill their obligations, I remind them that they're the ones who 7 years ago elected a President because he said not paying his obligations made him smart. And that even today they worship an oligarch who treats not paying rent as a smart financial move.
Think about that, if you're a conservative business owner struggling with theft or a landlord with tenants not paying rent. You created this.

You're an idiot. You clearly haven't understood a single word I've said and reached a conclusion that fits your need to be vindicated.

No. You're wrong. Most see the lies that you spout with your conservative views that purposely ignore facts, or twists them in your favor. Then when you are called out on it to the point where you cannot ignore it, you claim ignorance.

It's not like you made a mistake in a post or two, that happens to everyone. You have been caught in lie after lie after lie, in thread after thread after thread.

You seem to somehow think that everyone is so stupid they will fall for your claims of ignorance. Most have simply gotten too tired of your antics and have you ignored.

I'm as stupid as the next guy, that being said it takes no genius to identify what herd and what general behavior group you fit. "Own the libs" is your defining feature.

Let’s not forget that crime had been dropping for decades, went up under Trump, then resumed its decline.

Yes most of us here easily realize what a dishonest POS and low IQ person Greenman is. But there are morons that think he is smart and worth engaging. Exhibit A from not long ago:

Guess I'm an outlier. My IQ is a tad bit higher than that.

I find it funny that basically everyone thinks they are smarter than average.

This is not a slam on you, I think you’re a smart guy.

Elon now claims that "cis" and "cisgender" are slurs on Twitter and will be punished as such.

So much for Twitter being Musk's bastion of free speech. Then again, that's the modern conservative MO. People like Musk love censorship, they crave more of it — they just want to be the ones dictating who's allowed to speak. In conservative circles that means silencing the LGBTQ community and its supporters, not the people who hate that community.

I was already thinking this way before, but it's now truer than ever: I don't plan to buy a Tesla until Musk is out of the company. He's toxic, and he treats his companies' success as validation of his behavior.

I'm sure this has absolutely nothing to do with his daughter disowning him entirely, or Grimes leaving him for another woman.

Wouldn't be surprised. Whatever the reasoning, he needs to go. Even from a strictly pragmatic point of view, the Elon Show is becoming a distraction that hurts his management and may lead to reduced sales.

And I am sure there a ton of people using Twitter to bitch about this.
