I don't use Twitter. But my bosses son bought a Tesla model Y performance about a year ago. He paid too much, especially since the recent price cuts. Rumor has it that after a year he still owes more than a new one now costs. Anyway, he raged about it on Twitter, and apparently now can't access his own account lol.
Before that he thought Elon was a god and savior.

Musk is still a god and savior. And god told him to STFU.

lol, free speech for celebs… and he gets to use them as advertising/showcasing.
I think Elon should do a weekly session on Tucker Carlson, its where he belongs.
What’s amusing is he described the old system as ‘lords and peasants’.

All the fucking dorks and marks who paid Elon the $8 are so so mad that they're the only ones lol. The bitching and moaning is epic.

Holy shit, he is so fucking desperate for $$$.

His brilliant plan of forgoing billions in advertising dollars for (potentially) millions in subscription dollars continues about as well as you'd expect.

Musk is having a difficult time understanding the power relationship between himself and twitter advertisers.

He seems to be going for the idea that a small number of very committed users/advertisers will make up for a large number of less committed ones. This seems like a very bad bet.

Government funded media tag has been removed.

Guess the move to piss off NPR was all a ruse to get Chinese and Russian state media unlabeled.

Also aren't journalists constantly getting in trouble with their employers over shit they say on Twitter? Why would news organizations want to pay money to get them to use it more?

It has definitely trended into the "more trouble than it's worth" category for a lot of orgs.

I’ve given up trying to read my feed. I’m now checking individual accounts I follow one by one.
Not sure what you are doing. My "For You" feed is pretty much unchanged. A bunch of gaming stuff and a few other creators I follow. I click not interested in anything that is not one of those unless it is interesting. I muted elon a while ago when they started pushing his tweets to everyones feed.

Oh, I engaged with twitter through the PWA on windows. Ublock in Edge blocks all the ads.

My PC gaming/hardware account feels fairly unaffected.

My OSINT account…

I feel like this ranks up there with some wars for fastest destruction of wealth in history.

Twitter Blue has to be one of the dumbest business decisions of all time.
Between ublock Origin and Minimal Twitter extensions, I'm still having a pretty pleasant experience.
