Wasn't he, at some point complaining that Twatter is 60%bots (can't remember the exact percentage) and swearing that he would cleanse it if he would own it? :)))

$8 is basically the price of a fancy Starbucks drink, so it's not really a huge deal to pay for it really. It's available within the web browser now and I looked at it for fun but I don't really have a reason to get it myself. It seems once you hit around 5-6k or so followers it's very easy to get exposure even without it but if I was somehow making money off exposure, like promoting a monetized service or something, I'd probably get it if I think it will improve my exposure even more.

The check mark was the only thing that gave twitter the legitimacy to act as the official mouthpiece for countless organizations, agencies, and public officials. Now that any rando can buy one for $8, the check mark is effectively meaningless. If you're a regular person who thinks you're impressing people for having $8/mo in disposable income, you're an idiot. If you're a corp or govt agency that needs something to ensure the public can instantly recognize official statements as legitimate, twitter is no longer the place for you to do that.

In the end, it was all about turning twitter into a subscription service.

When I say he is on Rogans magic mushrooms this is what I am talking about

Why would the CIA have to send someone undercover when they can amass a dossier on his descent into madness just by reading his twitter feed?

As an aside, once again I will defend 'shrooms reputation because my experiences have always been overwhelmingly positive. I remember going camping with friends on shrooms and finding a magically beautiful spot for camp beside a river we somehow never knew existed and having a great time laughing all night with the moon glinting off the water and waking up to the "river" actually being a foot wide trickle of water and realizing we'd all thought we were an inch tall for an entire night. I remember finding a friend very slowly and intently rubbing a squished kiwi fruit all over his body while giggling. As yet, no CIA infiltrators have come to mind while high, nor the desire to type for that matter. I'm still of the opinion that his problems are mostly due to massively inflated self importance and the contact high of his cray cray followers.

No I haven't. Micro-dosing seems odd, especially as an outright trip would seem the point of a psychedelic to me. I also recommend doing psychedelics outdoors with good people you can trust. I'm not sure if Twitter HQ has much of either available.
Dont want to derail further, but I hear good things in regards to angst and otherwise disabling conditions.
I am considering it for a close relative that suffers social anxiety to a disabling degree, though I am not quite sure how to go about it.

I didnt even know... This from the "my pronouns is Prosecute/Fauci" and "Paul Pelosi's gay lover" tweeter the Elmo skid mark himself...

Fuck you Elmo.
Just another baby-Trump. Where "Free Speech" means "I can say anything I want, but you can't say anything I don't like." Considering he has is public figure, she is a known comedian, and he has himself claimed to be on the spectrum, I hope this gets thrown out of court with a pay day to Kathy Griffin. This, though, once again shows how the massively rich can abuse the court system to bully others.

Can't exactly be defamatory if it's true ...
I wonder what state he filed the lawsuit in because in any state with a decent SLAPP law all Musk will end up doing is writing her a check for her legal fees. Her ‘joke’ about him was saying the same thing he said about himself on national television.

I had no idea Griffin had stepped in it again.
The problem with being a c list celebrity with a big mouth is that she's well known enough to have some influence, but not rich enough to defend herself from the consequences.

I hope Musk gives her a break and she smartens up a bit.

What do you think she did wrong, exactly? Isn’t this really an example of how rich people abuse the legal system?

Don't know if it's abuse, but having a bucket of money always gives you options that many people don't have.
If it's as you say above and Griffin prevails Musk will pay the bill.
