twitter stopped getting rid of the bot accounts that it formerly cleared out on a daily basis.Musk claiming traffic at all time high, but report shows decline in users. I guess both could be true, some are abandoning the platform but people are still watching the train wreck.
It seems like being an endless train wreck as a driver of activity doesn't seem like a long term win...

Musk says Twitter usage is 'at an all-time high,' but a report shows that more than 1 million accounts have been deactivated or suspended since his takeover
Twitter's daily user growth has reportedly hit "all-time highs" amid Elon Musk's takeover drama, the FT said, citing an email sent to advertisers.www.businessinsider.com
Yea I dont think so.He's exactly the same way at SpaceX and Tesla. There are just more guardrails there and less of a spotlight when he was doing that the most.
Winder now if the Tesla board has already started considering the potential damage Musk is going to keep doing to the company and brand the more he very publicly exposes his complete and total incompetence at running....anything.
There isn't anything preventing them from completely ousting him from the company, probably buying out (assuming they have any cash left) enough of his shares to bump him back down below 50%?
Given what is left of the staff, appears Elon is handling not only tech support like this name change, but also he makes up the entire PR, advertising, finance and regulatory compliance organizations, all by himself. This is the winner lololololol
I don't think he owns more than 50% of Tesla, it was around 20% at the beginning of the year but is probably way less now after selling a bunch to buy Twitter and then some more recently.Winder now if the Tesla board has already started considering the potential damage Musk is going to keep doing to the company and brand the more he very publicly exposes his complete and total incompetence at running....anything.

You forgot:Given what is left of the staff, appears Elon is handling not only tech support like this name change, but also he makes up the entire PR, advertising, finance and regulatory compliance organizations, all by himself.
But it's already owned by a narcissist billionaire asshole. Now we just need some narcissistic billionaire asshole to buy facebook.

Having a big stack of money and huge tolerance for risk goes a lot better at a start up than a mature company.Yea I dont think so.
I see where this thread is heading, but to imagine Tesla has become what it is spite of Elon is nuts… Same with SpaceX. Does he need some not-yes men to dial him in at those places? Yea. My guesstimate is that he knows he needs them and keeps them around for that purpose. But not for Twitter: Arrogance. Its not engineering, its another field another culture… and all he sees is still nails… And Elon has a hammer so…
Ill call it arrogance. And an inability to reassess one self.
It's like train wreck week. I'm not sure which downfall I enjoy more, Twitter or FTX.
And exactly why it shouldn’t be a paid verification process, as in you paid so you’re obviously legit.their stock dropped almost 5% today because of this debacle. Twitter is fucked.
Idk, given the recent debacle and how Elon Musk has been showing the world what kind of person he is, I think it's fair to argue that Tesla is currently dropping because of Musk. I mean, just consider how many potential customers Tesla has lost because of Musk's personality and well... political affiliations.Tesla without Musk would probably drop at least 50%.

Have to admit all of this is super entertaining.
As far as Twitter usability I have not really noticed anything different myself but I am expecting to shed at least 1,000 followers once the bots get purged, Elon recently hinted at that coming very soon.
I don't think Elon is planing to make money with this, this is mostly a play toy for his own entertainment. Can't blame him, even billionaires have to have a bit of fun with their money. Not all purchases have to be smart financially when you have virtually unlimited money.
