BTW my fellow soon to be former twitter users..

Lets be a little ahead of the curve and get accounts on Tribel ( www.tribel.com )

Looks exactly like twitter without the Musky death smell of a online graveyard!

Love watching this train wreck for one of the worst humans on earth.

I'm amazed at how a smart guy like him had no idea what kind of cesspool he was dealing with and who were the primary cess'es

Twitter is political hot potato and Ben Carson showed us all being smart in one avenue of science doesn't means it translates to other venues.

So eventually Tesla stock will drop a bit too right?
It's been a blood bath for tech stocks over the past 12 months, so the TSLA 50%+ drop from all-time high isn't totally out of line. The fear for Elon is if "left-leaning" folks "cancel" Tesla and buy different brands, his TSLA stake could easily fall another 40% or more.

He can afford losing $25B on his Twitter adventure, but if his net worth sinks to #2 or #3 in the world, who knows how the narcissist man-child will react. :tearsofjoy:

Um, he bought it with the promise of increasing the number of turds floating in the cesspool.

And... the $8 checkmark is back & better than ever. You too can post wonders like the following, or impersonate a government official, complete with a blue checkmark. While this LeBron fake post was taken down (eventually) by one of the handful of remaining Twitter moderators, no way they can catch a fraction of the mess folks like Russian bot storms can make impersonating government officials and public figures to spread fake claims & influence, not just in English or just the US of course but in multiple languages across multiple countries...

From another poster: how long until someone imitates the Fed, with a blue check mark, and announces a rate hike...

Another fake tweet from impersonator today, under a trending topic taking advantage of the $8 blue check also...which initially fooled NBC reporter, amongst others

Musk is good with physical things that move. (Tesla, space x)

No clue what he was thinking in buying Twitter, and at double the price.
And that price was back then before the fed rate hikes and recession.

Twitter is imploding and musk is pouring more gasoline on the cash he lit on fire.

It's like musk is doing scorched earth.
Wtf don't understand

He's a sociopathic narcissist. I mean a professional cave rescuer said his submarine idea was dumb, and mr. free speech tried to smear him as a pedo.

Good point - Carson single-handedly destroyed the use of "brain surgeon" as a synonym for "really smart guy" and now Musk has done the same for "rocket scientist".

In future we'll have to say "it might look complicated but it's hardly social media platform management".

Musk does not hide the fact he has Asperger's Syndrome.

Asperger's Syndrome, is a developmental disorder. Young people with Asperger's Syndrome have a difficult time relating to others socially, and their behavior and thinking patterns can be rigid and repetitive.

I have known several people with autism, had several students when I was teaching college courses that were on the spectrum. Often very smart, and typically excel on the technical side, from electronics, math, networking, engineering. Musk should stick to designing rockets and EVs. He has zero or less than zero people skills to relate to the average person.

Actually very common trait of those with autism. People skills usually non-existent.

It's not just that he has zero people skills, it's that he is in such a position of power that he is an extremely dangerous man. No excuses for that guy.
