Some people, you give them enough rope they will hang themselves. Well, it appears you give someone enough money and they will make themselves the laughingstock of the world.

"... will be permanently suspended."

Is there a difference between being permanently suspended and permanently banned? What's in Elon's noodle?

When his investment implodes he's going full fash and will blame liberals then spend like 500M trying to get Trump elected again.

Sign me up for the Mars colony run by a more whiny version of Vilos Cohaagen.

The Mars colony run by software coded by developers incentivized by the number of lines of code they touch.

That’s odd, I swear he said the only speech that would be moderated was that which was illegal.

I also thought he was against the concept of permanent suspensions.

It is very, very funny to watch this clown slowly learn exactly the lessons everyone told him he would learn.

Lol, he is learning in real time that he is not who he wants to be... Omg... Maybe Rogan IS an imbecile.... and Thiel not my friend???

To be fair, he doesnt believe that. He does the exact opposite at Tesla, IIRC he rewards coders that actually eliminate code.

Where the owner throws metal balls at the windows to prove how strong they are.
I actually like that, fear of failure and fucking up is a real obstacle to innovation. Take some risks, fuck up, get back up, repeat. You're winning if you're building a work culture that doesnt do the blame game, where your emps priority is making the guy/gal next to you be his/her best, have wins.
Elon has lost his way. It is what it is.

Elon just tweeted that his followers should vote republican.

Edit: he may have sad users instead of followers, heard it from a distance on tv.

I truly feel bad for any employees there of which most are probably decent people having to go through this complete and utter shitshow by this narcissistic piece of garbage person Elon. Man what a mess, I figured he'd self-destruct the company quickly but not this fast. And you can see it everyday by his own tweets and actions the guy is just out of his depth and has nothing but bad intentions which are too obvious to many. What he needs to do is run for a Republican political office where he will be more welcomed rather than by sane decent folks that work for Twitter or at least want it to do some good.

If Musk puts all of twitter behind a paywall it will shrivel and die. There's a good chance that will happen anyway, but way slower. Myself, I have an account but I follow nobody and never share or retweet. EM saying everyone should vote Republican is enough to ensure I will hate his guts forever and proof positive he's a consummate asshole.

That could get interesting.

I kept thinking he bought Twitter so he could allow republicans and russians to spread misinformation in the days leading to the midterms. There are a few articles about the Russians but I am unable to connect the dots at the moment. Someone more sob...smart can do that.

Look, everyone gets to spend their money their own way. I'm just trying to reconcile this in my head:

Musk paid $44 billion for Twitter. There are thousands of people dying in the Ukraine:

Who lost critical comms from Starlink Ukraine going down over a financial squabble. For $3.25 million a month. $39 million a year. $39 million is 0.09% of $44 billion.

more a twitter thing and thank god they never implemented it because jfc

~We should know when users leave their house, their commute to work, and everywhere they go throughout the day. Anything less is useless. We get a lot more than that from other tech companies
