It'll be sweet to see an update of him playing it and owning at it.

I suppose if there are games with really nice surround sound that he could play competently and enjoy himself.

How the hell is he going to use echolocation on a TV screen?

He's not going to use echolocation to see luigi kicking his a$$ playing video games, but using surround sound to "see" what's going on will work for SOME games.

It'd be sweet to get an update as to how much Moms made off the deal when she pawned it on eBay before the release. ;)

Seriously, I wonder how much that Wii is worth right now. I'd guess $5k+ to some rich kid.

Interesting that they gave him Zelda with it, I would doubt that it's 100% finished. I suppose they can give him a final copy in Nov.

He'll be the most popular kid in the neighborhood, but I don't understand how he can play video games. Didn't he say his eyes are prosthetics, so he has no vision at all? He can't echo-locate pictures on his TV screen.

Funny how he said I saw this on the Internet. :D

hes FREAKING BLIND.. you cannot ECHO LOCATE OFF 2D objects IE: a freaking TV screen you moron..
think about what you just freaking posted... ECHO.. LOCATE.. that is when blind people use noises to reverb off of objects to see the object and avoid it..
it doesnt work on a TV casue the OBJECT NEVER MOVES..

good game moron..

Actually, LTR. His quote didn't even say he was blind. Just lost most of his vision.

Good Game.

talking about Wii... does the nunchuck controller thingie has a vibration function?

If so some perverted Japan game developer can make an adult game to put the vibration function to good use

Underwood actually clicks with his tongue and listens to how the sound bounces off of things.

Wow cool....he's like a real life Daredevil. Hopefully his life doesn't bomb at the box office.

Quite a few people who are legally blind have some vision. Pretty much everyone except those with severed optic nerves or severe brain damage.
