The title is misleading, plain and simple. Trump did not lie given the terms of what he said. It is quite arguable that Warren has proven she is an "indian" in any case.
No, you are misleading. Thats the whole point.

Because you clearly care about political lying, haha.

What did I say that is misleading? The thread title said Trump lied. Clearly listening to the actual words said, the true terms, Warren failed to meet those terms. This would mean Trump did not lie. The thread title is a lie. Cherokee Nation has rejected Warren, she has no ties to their people in any way that matter. I've probably been to more pow-wows (Boy Scouts used to be awesome).

Bruh, I can't stand politicians that lie.
That's not the problem. The problem is that you believe that politicians are somehow more deserving of contempt because they lie than when regular people do the same thing and that you believe yourself to be an unbiased arbitrator in which politicians are lying and deserve your hate and which do not. The condition in which you can't stand things is a moral judgment you make as a result of conditioning you have not transcended via self awareness and the experience of feeling what you feel. You would easily fit right in at the Grand Inquisition.

Bump, for this particular issue.

CNN: Elizabeth Warren's Native American problem just got even worse
On Tuesday, Warren's claims took a major hit: The Washington Post reported on a Texas bar registration card from 1986 in which, clearly and apparently in her own hand, the Massachusetts Democrat had written "American Indian" when asked to identify her race.

That will certainly sting.

Are there DNA test results from 1986 as well?

This is really inconsequential for me based on the context of the situation. Americans are allowing things to happen that are going to impact us for decades, this is not one of them.

I think all this stuff is stupid and disappointing coming from Warren, but I agree, it's inconsequential.

I'm still going to vote for Sanders in the primary, and I'm going to vote for Warren in the GE if she's nominated, none of this stuff is going to change how people vote.

I could care less. She in not endangering the country like Trump is every day. It's all misdirection. The #1 important thing imo it to take down trump and his little nazi pitbull Stephen Millier any way possible .

You sound more and more extreme, and you don't understand the phrase, "I couldn't care less."

The person with two incorrectly used apostrophes in his signature probably shouldn't be lecturing other people on the proper use of words.

If the #1 thing is to take down Trump then shouldn't you care somewhat?

Stories like this coming out aren't good for her when it comes to a general election. Some people might not care but some people probably do and in general stories like this just aren't a good look for her.

She was just re-elected in MA to the senate. Even if she doesn't move forward as a presidential candidate, she's still a senator.

LMAO no one is not going vote for her because of this. I'm fascinated by the people that apparently slept through the entire 2016 presidential campaign

Well can you do anything about it? No. So why bother getting worried about it.

The only people who care are those who had no intention of voting for her and are concerned trolling.

It's part of the republican playbook which is why I pointed out that the only way democrats get votes is if they have a perfect candidate who has been unmolested by republican slime. Guess what the chances of that are.

Best case scenario this is a neutral story for Warren that doesn't matter at all. Stories about her heritage instead of her policy are a net negative for her when it comes to her electability.

My point is that if you are picking the democratic candidate to vote for in the primary based solely on who is most likely to beat Trump this should be a strike against her, if only a small one.

Remind me, what was the conventional wisdom around Trump's electability in 2015?

Why woudl this sting? We live in an era where trump is president. What moral authority does any of her rivals have over her?

Doesn't matter. The GOP is a collection of self-loathing, never-held-any-type-of-job racists that gleefully refuse to hold themselves to the hilarious standards that they demand of their opposition--and the mewling, poorly-educated twats that make up their base unquestioningly go along with it.
