The whole liberals are racist meme using African Americans comes from a racist assumption in the first place about people. (that blacks and minorities are greedy and vote for handouts/welfare (and the assumption minorities mainly have/seek welfare is a racist generalization. This is why the point of view comes off as racist conspiracy to normal folks.
