It took some doing (well, LOTS of doing), but I finally got past this damn stage. Made a couple of mistakes but had enough to finish it off in the end, was close to choking it away when I didn't spin that last pinwheel enough.

As you can see this stage is borderline INSANE, it doesn't help that any little mistake you make is almost impossible to recover from, I'm lucky I had so many 300's or I was sunk for sure. Will still probably keep playing until I can perfect the board, but right now I'm just glad it's over and done with, heh. If you have a DS.. BUY THIS GAME!

As someone who doesn't own a Nintendo DS, what you were doing made no friggin' sense whatsoever :)

EBA is a rhythm game where you do certain stylus actions in sync with the song being played. What he did is very, very hard.

Congrats BrokenVisage.:)

Man, play Ouendan 2.

they ramped up the difficulty BIG TIME.

It took me FOREVER to unlock cheerleader mode on that one, and at that point I could zoom through cheerleader modes in both Ouendan 1 and EBA.

I figured that much, but it looks like he somehow blew up a spaceship with blue goo by winning a dancing competition?!? WTF is up with that?

Japanese video games make no sense :)

The plot behind the game is that you are the leader of a team of what amounts to cheerleaders. People end up in bad/crisis situations, and you come to cheer them on to help them make it through the situation.

It's worth noting that the OP wasn't playing with the normal characters. Normally you are a trio of suited MIB-style government agents.

Pure genius. I can only hope that a film adaptation of the game is in the near future.

Thanks guys.. yeah it's a crazy song, and yes for a while I feared wearing a hole into the screen from playing it so much too, but one must take chances like that to win at this thing. :p

The Ouendan games are next I suppose, but hopefully a sequel to EBA as well is in the works!

And yeah, the spinning wheels SUCK! :|

I love Elite Beat Agents. The story lines and animation are hillarious. I am convined my Shieldzone screen protector puts me at a disadvantage though.

I have no idea what's going on, but with the Rolling Stones and cheerleaders it can't be too bad. :p

EBA Commercial

Not the best advertising job ever for a game, but it should give you an idea of what is going on. I posted a "replay" of the stage I beat doing what it shows in the commercial, which is using the stylus to follow the numbers/colors/patterns with the beat of the song. So imagine having to use a little pen-like thing to tap on specific spots in order, if you hit the spot right on time it's 300 points, almost on time is 100, and a little early/late is 50.

Awesome man. =)

I gave up right before hard rock mode, the 3rd difficulty jumpin jack is too much for me.

But Jumpin' Jack is nowhere near as gard as Ready! Steady! GO! on Ouendan. The wheels in Ouendan 1 were improperly balanced, so after playing that I was capable of playing EBA Wheels with ease.

...Either way though THE WHEELS ARE THE DEVIL!

Congrats, from one EBA fan to another =)

I liked the original ouendan better, but EBA is nice. Welcome to the "club" :p

Now time to beat all of them with an A score!

Dude, getting an A score is tough for me on any difficulty! I only got it a couple times on Sweatin' and just twice on HARD Rock. Not to mention I've yet to get a S score even once!

dude, don't worry,

once you get to ouendan 2 and put in your blood sweat and tears, you'll be getting S's like nothing. The game forces you to be perfect, else you lose.

I'm working on all S's on cheerleader mode on all 3 games right now. Before Ouendan 2, it would have been a tough thing to attempt, but it's quite do-able now.
