i've been doing the same model elipical at the gym twice a week for the past few months for 30min.

i usually have resistance set to 11. no problems.
yesterday, i decided to up it to 15 for the last 2 min.
the last 2 min is where the eliptical is at the highest elevation.

i wake up this morning w/a little pain in both knees.

WTF?!

Age..you have it. Doesn't get any better either.:( Tweaked mine last Sept. on the elliptical. Got a little better over a few months. Stood up from my desk and tweaked it again. Still not where I was prior to Sept. May be my new normal, ftl.

I used to do 3 miles on the elliptical every day and had to stop because my knees were getting weak. I think it's because of the spacing of your feet on the elliptical. It's further apart than how it is when you walk or run. My friend thinks it's because of the resistance was on high. Anyway, I haven't used the elliptical for years now and I've recovered.
