Eliminating noise with headphones on front audio jack

I've been using headphones on the front jack on my case with my new system, and I am getting a lot of interference/noise from the system. Whenever I move the mouse, or access the hard drives, etc, I hear quiet static in my headphones. This doesn't happen with the jacks in the back of the PC, only with the front ones.

I know it's due to the analog connection inside my computer between the motherboard audio component and the front audio port, but is there any way to eliminate this? Do shielded wires exist for this connection? Should I just suck it up? 🙂

i think your best bet is getting some speakers w/ a headphone jack- never had any problems w/ those, you can also just adjust the volume through your speakers volume

That's how mine are connected, which eliminates the static for me. Still a major PITA though.

i believe you have on board audio and you bought a bad motherboard manufacturer. Noise appear on power source of audio components, cap may help you if you know hareware well.
