I'd like to eliminate the recent file listing from Windows Media Player 7. I know where to look the the Windows registry to delete the recent file additions, but wasn't sure if there was an easier way around it like changing a setting in the WMP7 registry (no setting in player app) or making a batch file. Any suggestions? Or am I SOL?

There's a Windows Media? Player 7 Bonus Pack on the ms support site that includes "Most Recently Used Cleaner " to delete the files list. I couldn't get it to install but I've been having difficulties with multiple attempts to install WinMe upgrades on my machine so you may have better luck.

I've been looking for that for a while too. I hate opening 10 mp3 files to make the list look clean.. ;)
