Is Eli Roth actually in the show? The premise sounds like something I might would be interested in if it wasn't for that. Then again, this might be more up his alley since him and Rob Zombie seem to think just being horror movie fans is enough to make horror movies (which it is, but not enough to make them enjoyable; I'll give RZ some credit, I feel like he improved, Lords of Salem was genuinely discomforting I think it was moreso than Hereditary or Midsommer).
You are giving off the vibe of Mac and Dennis not realizing that their party mansion flyer was a dick.
I take it you also weren't aware that Spider-Man's web is jizz?
The dead bodies in Poltergeist (you know when the mom falls into the hole where they're building the pool) were real cadavers. It was apparently cheaper and easier than making fake ones.
You should see JCVD as Predator (oh yeah, JCVD was originally going to be the Predator). They had him running around in this dumbass looking monster costume.
The issue is that seems like them re writing history to try and justify the shitty Matrix stuff after the first movie. I think they're trying to reframe it to try and mitigate the criticisms of the sequels, to try and stem Matrix following Star Wars (good original, dumbass moronic over CGIed ones that came later, and then them trying to get people hyped for new ones that are likely going to suck just as much - sorry I think the Wachowskis are just bad filmmakers that like Lucas stumbled onto a perfect storm where they could make something very cool, but clearly didn't actually understand what made it cool so they fucked it all up; everything they've made since has been pretty awful with the only one I enjoyed being Speed Racer where it was still pretty shallow and all about the visual tour de force).
