they could thats why a large % of people are telling congress. " Quit giving us lip service and secure the borders!"
Neither party wants to get tough on it, all 3 branches of Govt are dropping the ball and need thier feet held to the fire.

One potential answer is it was a probe. Cats will blow themselves up for a cause, so getting run through our legal system and deported shouldn't be too high a price to pay to see if we even fixed some of the holes they exploited before.

Propaganda is one of the most powerful tools at the terrorists disposal now, so if they could of waltz in with the same nonchalance as before, and pulled off a plot, man would that have been propaganda gold for them.
