Electrons: Spin Up or Spin Down?

Are you a student or does your job have to do with that?
 
Electrons spin in two directions here: in the direction of the beam and 180 degrees out of phase. So I cannot vote in your poll.
 
I like spin up. They're a better sort of electron...more honest, harder working...an electron you can depend on.
 
Oh and due to the dipoles and quads (and even the correctors to a small extent) the electrons' spin "precesses" as the electrons make their way around the machine. 10 times in a 5 pass machine. 🙂
 
Electrons can have a spin in any direction. The projection of their spin along any given axis is quantized and can only have the values + or - hbar/2.
