Ok so im trying to make something like this http://www.mit.edu/people/dfung/afmeter.htm

But with the exception of I only want it to have 4 led's and I want to add pot's so it will be able to adjust what voltage triggers each led. For example I want it set up like this:

1- .78 - .86
2- .86 - .90
3- .90 - .94
4- .94 - .98

Im wanting to make it similar to a Dawes Devices a/f gauge, but im cheap and I like to build things.

Can I adapt the setup in the link above to only use 4 led's? Like I said I am an electronics noob I took 1 year of high school electronics so sorry for the crappy questions.
