DON"T SHOP AT BRANDSMART USA!!!!!!!!!!!
They may have low prices, but I have a horror story.
I bought a JBL 400Wat subwoffer for my HT system. Worked 100% until June when the PSU broke inside I take to brandsmart under MFGR warranty to get replace. They say they aren't allowed to replace it. Now they offer to repair it and try to charge me $70 for repair cost and estimate and $99 non refundable deposit. So I have to leave a deposit for MY unit to be held at their facility. UM...WTF kind of crap is that? Cmmon why do I pay you to hold what I already own.
Anyway it gets better after they wave charges and I leave it they say. It will take 2 weeks. I say ok thanks and leave. It's been OVER A MONTH!!! I call them and they say...they got it on the 14th of June and I say well, you telling me you hold it at your location for a week before sending it out? Looks that way and they say it will be another 6 weeks until I get it back. There goes the 2 weeks deal they tried to throw at me. PFFFT!
This is BS if I ever seen it...they tell me 2 weeks and then hold it a WHOLE WEEK before they send it out and now want to tell me that after a month I'll wait another 6 weeks!
I spend over $500 at their store around christmas on this thing, and now it's not worth anything. What kind of crap is that. It would be better if they replace the units on site WITHOUT any waiting time and they can package the old unit in the box for sale again after it's back. I'm just warning all of you in the south florida area to avoid them at all cost as they do not have good customer service practices.
