I'm in the process of looking up a good local electronics repair business. I'm tyring to get a CCZ cable repaired here at work (TV studio) and I thought I'd post to see if anyone had some good suggestions. We have a new connector ready to be soldered onto the cable, the only issue is it's a 26-conductor cable and from what I'm told, it's not a soldering job for the uninitiated. So does anyone know of a shop in my neck of the woods that can handle somewhat intricate soldering that I can drop this cable and connector off to? So far I've found TV and Radio repair shops, but my experience has been so far that these places don't like to tackle things they haven't seen before, therefore they want to charge more money than they normally would for the soldering job.
