My rent's are going to Singapore for a day or two and they wanted to know if there was anything that I wanted. Are there any nifty nerd toys in Singapore that arent available in the US. Links/descriptions and aproximate prices if possible :beer:

when in asia, these are the stuff you should look out for .

LAPTOPS,
Portable Music Players
Car Receivers
Then all other electronics.

 
any specific models though? im not going so i cant look! i have a dell 600m, and a kenwood mp3 player for my car; so unless its special i cant justify any purchasing

Sadly no. Unless your parents are going to Japan, I think you're gonna be dissappointed.
 
You'll only find generic, off brand stuff to be cheap. Name brand items are not going to be any less, in fact you may be surprised to see they cost a lot more money than at your local compusa.
