Are both of these circuits equally valid for hooking up LED's to a power supply through a resistor?
I would assume so, since they are in parallel, but I wasnt to make sure I can get away with 1 resistor, not have to use 3.
1 resistor
3 resistors
I guess the first one would work, but I can't remember for sure.
Excuse the crappy drawings.

IF you are switching on and off each of the three independently, the 1 resistor model will make their respective brightnesses change with the number of LEDs that are on. If the 3 are on all the time, then the 1 resistor model will be fine, based on my first post.
