EET degree is very respected here in Columbus, Ohio. Your jobs vary... just like every degree. Usually you will end up being on an engineering team, doing a huge range of things.... anything from support, to design, to project crap.... It all depepnds on what job you get.

EET degree will definately get you in the door. It's a tough degree though. I am in my last 3 classes of my CET (Computer Engineering Technology) degree. The first 5 trimesters are the same for CET and EET. CET has more C++, and EET has more circuit design.

Also... ignore all the morons who rag on DeVry. They are just pissed because they went to a state school and got a degree in Communications. (i.e... they have no idea what DeVry is about)

DeVry is very well ranked in the Academic Rankings of nationwide schools. I will dig up some facts.... hold on.
