As far as I can discern, it's a 9 hour "production" by Armin.

He spins for ~4 hours (he has 4 segments called bullshit like "sound", "vision", etc), and has the other slots filled in by friends/other dj's

I think the whole "production value" comes from the stage/lighting/whatever, but I have no idea.

If it's anywhere near as good as sasha/digweed for 4 hours, I'll be happy

Didn't hear about it. The longest I've ever heard from him is his ASOT episode 300 and that wasn't completely him. He's ok. His style is a bit drab for me.
