Find a good club/rave in your area, or check out satellite records or groovetech if you want to hear a wide variety of techno/trance/house/d&b/etc in real audio... or you can always go for the trendsetting dj's like Paul Van ***, Paul Oakenfold, John Kelley, DJ Dan, Sasha, John Digweed, etc... not a bad place to start.
Yesterday I heard an album from an Iceland group called Sigur Ros. They're gaining popularity here and the music was interesting, a lot of spacey ambient sounds.
