I'm doing webex conferences with co-workers over the internet. The #1 issue we have is we can't just grab a scratch pad and doodle something out. Do you guys have any recommendations on what both parties can buy so we can draw stuff on the screen in real time? As easy as drawing something out on a piece of paper?

these should be very easy to find. I've stopped looking at e-pads many, many years ago but i'm pretty sure they existed as far back as 2005. Take a free bump, i'm sure someone will use one, likely if they do art or graphics design.

thinking about this, you wouldn't be in the same room, right? because, while it is easy to sketch something on ONE pc, and this is then displayed on a monitor, or projector, the same is not easy if you are in conferencing.

Possibly, the easiest way to do this is to hook a drawing pad to MS Paint (or, you know, anything else that can produce a .jpg) and then simply share it with whatever communication sw you are using, be it Skype, Communicator.

The idea that a bunch of people on different systems can all scribble on the same board is ... nice, but, i can't think of any system that does this.

It doesn't have to be on the same screen. I just need to be able to scribble and then share via webex. And my boss needs to be able to do the same. If we scribble on the same board that's a plus, but not mandatory. So your drawing pad + paint would be an improvement from where I'm at.
