Hey all you New Yorkers and surrounding Areas of NYC.
I just got my new PC Magazine and they show a new Electronic Show at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Lots of new toys to play with.

Electronic Show

Edit: also video games
GameonNY

If it's anything like the local shows that are held at Queens College etc, then I'll pass. Nothing to see except things you already know about and overpriced merchandise you can buy cheaper on newegg probably

It's not a sale, it's a show.

Been receiving flyers for this and TechXNY fairly regularly. Believe TechXNY is just before this, no?

Yes TechXNY is before this one, but TechXNY is more for the industry show not a consumer show.

I went yesterday after work. It sucked. MS was giving away Media Center PCs in raffles, though and the Blackberry booth was very cool. Otherwise, unless you wanted to wait in line behind a dozen 12 year olds to play videogames, there wasn't much to see. Oh yeah, and I got a free Shecky's from their booth, which was a pretty good giveaway.

You could seriously walk through everything in 15 minutes.
