Electronic Frontier Foundation Petition against RIAA tactics.

If you don't know who the EFF is, then I suggest you read about them. Stealing music is wrong, but so are the tactics of the RIAA, and I for one am fed up with them. Sign this if you feel the same way, and start buying used CDs if you can't force yourself to not buy them period.

While I'm not a huge fan of what approach the RIAA has taken, it's not like I can blame them. Can't say that I'll sign the petition. Much better karma to simply go with the newer alternatives to gathering music/media.

I wouldnt mind signing it, and no, I dont fileshare. Any music I do have on my comp is either of my collection or the collection of a friend of mine, so we could always reproduce the cd's if need be. (we borrow/swap all the time) The Riaa's tactics here are deplorable. They need to change their business model to survive, period. Also, havent the RIAA heard of "fair use" or "privacy" in regards to many of these cases?

I signed it, I dont fileshare. Any music I do have on my comp is not mine and I downloaded it from someone on the internet
