Anyone going? What to expect this year?

Me and my roommate are planning on going but i'm only a college student. We plan on a vacation to California in May so it would be great if i could get in.

Can anyone hook me up? 😉

While you're busy hooking him up, you can hook me up too, plz.
Heck, I'd be willing to pay for a pass. Just not $150 for one. 😛

Buy a domain, and start a quick hardware site. Say you are the press and get in free.

are you sure that would work? If so, i might give it a try. 😉

I went two years ago and I might've been able to go this year except my work just took all my vacation time and left me a week short on pay because of an unplanned 2 week shutdown.

Edit:
And you either have to be in the industry or know someone who is to get in. It is NOT general admission.

I know i'm not in the industry.

Maybe someone that IS in the industry can hook me up. In return, hmm, maybe some coverage of the event, or exclusive pic of booth babes? 😀

Well, anyone with $150 can get in with no credentials. 🙂

I will be there this year just like the past 4 years that I have gone. Dont even ask me for hookups...I get in for free but you need 2 forms of ID etc. for the registration forms and they check to make sure you qualify. The past 4 years have been pretty good shows and im definatly looking forward to this year. My Registration and Hotel are already set....all i gotta do is get some good airfare and im ready to go.

As for press you cant just start a site and get in. It has to be a company is in LCC or .INC etc.

I went back in 1999 as press. It was really cool getting to meet all those great game designers in person. Some really strange stuff happened too. The biggest disappointment was that they didn't show DNF that year!

Dude, you are really serious about wanting someone to 'hook you up'. I thought you were just saying it for sh!ts and giggles.

Dude, of course i'm serious, i so want to go. I already planning to go San Diego and LA this May so it would be great if i can get in E3 for free. 😀
