Hi there,
Here's (probably) a dumb question. My phone jack is right above a heat register in my room. When I have the heat on full blast I usually unplug the phone cord in case it gets heated up and zaps my mobo or something. Is there a need to do that?
And, when I unplug the cord, I usually turn off the PSU power, so my computer is completely off when I unplug it. Is there a need to do that or can I just unplug it when my computer is off but my PSU is on?
Thanks a lot!
