Electrical Engineers are Creative too! Check out this semester design project @ Purdue

Heh ... nice 😛
But why does your going-in assumption seem to be that engineers aren't creative?
Engineering is one of the most creative proffesions their is, practically by definition. Kind of like art with rules 😛

True, but as a professor, I see too many students that want to take the "cook-book" approach to engineering.

I do agree that in its purest form, it is very creative.

Well, as a former (and future) student, many engineering professors don't tend reward creativity. My team learned that the hard way in senior design.

BEWBIES!!! But anyways.... heh, the entire thing was on a breadboard? I remember doing stuff like that for some junior projects.

im sittin here on campus @ purdue, but dont have ppt installes so icant view, plus i wont know them, im only a frosh.

purdue > some.

fixed

fine, we'll leave MIT out of it.

😉

Don't forget Stanford, UC Berkeley, Caltech, UIUC.....

yeah, but they suck at engineering. Just look at the intarweb.

coomer > all.

*cough* well... I won't be hating on Purdue, my dad went there and I applied there as my safety school. 🙂

UIUC is my hero. #4 for engineering 😀

Well, I don't know them but I have that book. It's a sophomore book. I wonder why they need that in senior design...
