I'm in the middle of planning a case mod and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations about where I could get electrical components (switches, caps, transistors, soldiering materials, leds, etc.) other than radio shack. I just don't particularly care for radio shack. I'd perfer to shop somewhere else online; anyone got a suggestion?

Radio Shack is suck, but I have done several case mods using their buttons and switches without any problems. Maybe they are good at making individual components, they just cannot put them together into solid products!?!?

A few online vendors that come to mind are MPJA, Jameco, and BGMicro. There are many others.

I personally prefer to get that stuff locally. I'm sure that there are electronics houses other than radio shack in your area. No waiting, no shippping charges and you get to see the real thing before you buy.
