Electric Violin

Thinking about picking one of these up to better my playing skills. Anyone ever used them?

Not the one I'm looking at. Its got a solid body, so the guy says there's hardly any sound that comes out of it acoustically.

He is truly incredible. I had the pleasure of hearing him when I was in Chester, England over Thanksgiving last year. He played Pink Floyd and it was so amazing.

Electric violin is pretty sweet.

I just bought a five dollar practice mute instead for my viola. It's not perfect, but it does kill a lot of the sound.
