Electric Shavers

I like Braun the best

Edit: The had the braun before my current one for a good 8+ years I think( actualy still have it and use the beard trimmer, but the mesh finally got a hole).

Honestly all the ones i've tried have sucked. Now that doesnt mean there might be some higher quality alternatives, but in my experience they just dont work.
Even when i first started shaving my electric didnt give me a close shave.

I have a Braun 6800 series. I've had it about 3.5 years now. I've only changed the blade once and that was when it was damaged from being dropped. The foil around the moving blade has a tear in the corner right now (from being mishandled on my part) and could use a replacement, but the shaver cuts fine.

I have a Braun Syncro (model # starts with a 7 lol) and I love it. It's better than any rotary electric shaver.

My Remington is ridiculously loud and the foils are broken and spares are impossible to find. Don't get it.

EDIT: I want a new one too. What do you guys recommend?

Stick to a good disposable 3 blade type/non electric. My wife likes it smooth so that's what I give her 😀 No, not down there, just the face **LMAO**

Now when it comes to her............ Hmmmmm

Stick with a cartridge or go doubleedge. I tried electric for a month and it left me with nothing but rough skin, razorburn and a very crappy shave.

I actually use a Remington Titanium with the self cleaning solution/charging cradle. It works fine, better than a lot that I have tried. It cost me 130, and the solution is 5 bucks a month. Never changed the blades yet.

try to get one WITHOUT a cradle/charging stand. if you forget to charge it and need a quick shave, you're outta luck. get one with the cord so you can plug it into the wall and shave, in case the battery dies.

Never changed mine. These aren't for getting real close anyway.

they dont get very close? hmm...that sucks

They get close enough that you look clean shaven, but, ya, you can still feel it and your beard is back quicker than with a razor. Still handy to have one when you're in a real hurry and need to look presentable.

I've got a very nice panasonic and I use it almost exclusively for stuff like trimming my neck hair in the shower or giving myself a reverse goatee if I'm too lazy or busy to shave for a few days.

And, no matter what, it'll take weeks for your skin to adjust to it. Till then it may burn a little bit.

yea electric shaver is for um.. camping or things like that. no matter what theres a foil grid of some kind between your skin and the blades. its not worth the money.

I have a high end Braun (Activator, just under their new 360 Complete) and a Panasonic Linear.

The Panasonic is better, more comfortable. It's especially noticable compared back to back.

I had a Norelco for years and never changed the blades. You can find deals that cost just as much for a new shaver than getting new blades. I recently bought a new one.
